Plowden & Thompson is one of the few glass factories remaining in the West Midlands and is one of only two working cones in the UK.

The company boast a diverse range of products and skills and specialise in hand producing coloured glasses rod for lamp working, tube and cut crystal. They melt a variety of glasses ranging from borosilicate to lead crystal.
