This sculpture is a three section kiln cast work. Each section is of the human head, taken from a life model & bisected to create a mould into which 100's glass rods are melted. The three elements contain metal nail inclusions, enamels, coloured glass & spiral rods & deliberate cracks.
These components are eventually fused together in a manner to suggest the inner workings of the human mind. A modern mental millefiori!
