Every plate is unique being totally hand made & constructed from layers of glass. Each layer is silk-screened with glass enamels & engraved by hand, to create a range of patterned sheets of glass. These are then cut into sections with a glass cuter, re assembled and trapped between two other sheets of glass, to create a variety of unique designs.
The glass is fired twice. The first time fuses all the pieces together and the second time to fuse & slump the sheet into it's final form.
