Christopher Blade is a graduate from the Royal College of Art, London. He has a Masters Degree and BA (Hons) Degree in glass making and design. He is Head of Enterprise, Commissioning and the Studio at the National Glass Centre, University of Sunderland, UK

Alongside managing the National Glass Centre Studio's specialist production capabilities Chris designs and produces bespoke art glass, often inspired by his incredible adventures as a travel photographer. A selection of these images may be viewed country-by-country under the Travel Photography section of this site.

Chris worked as a University lecturer for 15 years Course Leading 3 Higher Education programmes in 'Three Dimensional Design' & 'Commercial Interior Design'. He has work in many private collections worldwide.
