Christopher Blade is a graduate from the Royal College of Art, London. He has a Masters Degree and BA (Hons) Degree in glass making and design. He is Senior Manager of Enterprise at the National Glass Centre, University of Sunderland, UK

As well as managing all aspects the the National Glass Centre Glass Studio with its incredible resources & specialist production, Chris designs and produces his own bespoke art glass, often inspired from his incredible adventures as a travel photographer. A selection of which may be viewed by country-by-country under the Travel Photography section of this site.

Chris worked as a University lecturer for 15 years Course Leading 3 Higher Education programmes in 'Three Dimensional Design' & 'Commercial Interior Design'. He has work in many private collections worldwide.
